RELOCATION OF WATER AND GAS RETICULATION, WARREGO HIGHWAY

CLIENT
Western Downs Regional Council

DURATION
11 Months

VALUE
$4.1 M

LOCATION
Dalby, Queensland
This project required the relocation of over nine kms of water and gas infrastructure, through the town of Dalby, to accommodate the widening and major upgrade of the Warrego Highway.
The largest project, completed by Chris Buckley Plumbing, to date. The project included the installation of PVC, DICL and PE water mains and gas mains, ranging in size from 50mm up to 300mm, as well as a large number of property connections. The majority of mains were installed beneath the Warrego Highway, which averages 15,000 vehicles a day through Dalby.  This required a substantial amount of planning and traffic management and the job was completed without an incident. A mammoth amount of road and footpath reinstatement was required and public consultation was carried out by dedicated liaison officers, throughout the project.
