MITCHELL RESERVOIR WATER MAIN

CLIENT
Maranoa Regional Council

DURATION
6 Months

COMPLETED
June 2014

VALUE
$990,000

LOCATION
Mitchell, Queensland
This project required the installation of a new water main approximately 2km in length. The majority of the new water main was 300mm PVC and DICL.

The new reticulation main was installed along the DTMR road corridor and connected to existing water infrastructure at the intersection of the Warrego Highway and Alice St.

Being a reticulation main, services to residences and businesses also required connection following disinfection and commissioning of the new main. Due to a number of road crossings and connections to water mains on side roads, a considerable amount of roadway and footpath reinstatement was also undertaken upon completion of construction.
