The Glennie School's, new state of the art - three court, Indoor Sports Centre.
Adjoining the school's existing aquatic facility on Vacy Street, the new centre also includes a circuit room for weight training, a spin bike room for cycling, two health and physical education classrooms, a staff room, change rooms and a new entrance foyer. The multi-purpose courts are marked for basketball, netball,
volleyball, futsal and badminton.
Plumbing works included a substantial upgrade to the stormwater infrastructure and an extension to the existing fire and domestic water mains.
Large changerooms and toilet areas were built in the new foyer area which required a vast amount of communication with the school and the builder, as the existing aquatic centre had to remain operational throughout the project.
